T1 Trigger kit help...

controls how long the coil is charged for.
too high of a dwell, u past its saturation point, waste energy and over heat the coils, possibly destroying the coils themselfs and anything else inbetween...ignitor, ecu, etc...
too low of a dwell u aren't maximizing the spark energy of the coil....misfires, spark blow out, etc...
more dwell does NOT mean more spark/energy, once u past its saturation point, your simply wasting energy and potentially damaging your equipment

Tony I have a friend that did a b16 swap with just pistons & rods, gsr cams & cam gears from obd0 to obd1 & keeps getting code 9???
He's checked for resistance from each wire from coil to ecu & even got another adapter harness & keeps getting the same damn code.
My ? is will your cam trigger remedy this or do you think it's a fluke?
BTW it's a motor from Hmotors online from Japan if that makes any difference what so ever.
Also swaped out different coil from msd to stock & keep hitting a wall.
Any help would be appreciated as we are ina shitty spot with this matter!
Thanks, Rob

He has a problem somewhere, my sensor is not the solution.
When he converted to obd1, did he also use an obd1 distributor? You have to do that, the obd0 has 16 teeth on one trigger, where the obd1 has 24 teeth. You also have to match the sensors up on the dist connector, the colors are different on a couple of them, if you just match the colors up on the new dist. connector then it's not right.
