roof cap is just a layover. doesnt interfere with anything. doesnt replace anything.

i tihnk sunroof plugs are legal too

yup i picked mine up on ebay as well but have a body shop install it because you have to cut the edges in order for it to fit or if you have the proper tools you can do it good luck thoe its kinf of pricy so i dont know if you want to take the risk the shop charged me 50 bucks to install

if i get the roof cap for my si (has a sun roof) do i need to fill the whole where the sunroof used to be or will the cap seal it from leaking water inside the car?

Yep, car has been gutted for about 3 weeks now. Just trying to figure out everything, so many different ways to build everything.

But the lady is helping me out, so for I got pistons and rods for birthday.

i plan on doing this so i can delete my sunroof but with a fiberglass plug.

this is what you want if your really want to loose weight from your sunroof . a stupid cf panel wont do nothing but look pretty and still weigh the same you have to delete the whole sunroof.

I'm probably going to be ordering the lighterfaster kit next week as well. I weighed the option of carbon plug or carbon hood for a good month straight and decided to keep the stock hood for now and buy the plug. They cost about the same as a carbon hood but saves more weight. I can always cut out the shell under the stock hood as well.
