This Sunday!

Hopefully put up some numbers finally. But luckily our local track is opening back up, so hopefully means alot more seat time in the coming months.

Havent really done too much with it since blowing the trans at IFO (besides blowing up a stock diff in my spare trans I had put in the car lol)

Full interior FTW

diff carnage

Went to IFO this past Sunday, only got one full shakedown pass in before the rain showed up in first round of eliminations.

Low boost, falling on its face in 2nd gear mustered up a 11.5 @ 129.. Turned it up on the 2nd qualifier just to have a clutch issue (throw out bearing wouldn't release, so clutch just slipped). Did some adjusting and got it to work for first round eliminations, but couldnt beat the rain.

Thanks for Cliff for the photos

Car looking beautiful as usual! Glad to see pix of it in action but sorry to hear about your troubles. More time to work out the bugs and I'm sure it will run some good numbers.

I am a bit concerned for your fender to slick clearance. Did the slicks rub the fenders when slowing down from 130? I'd hate to see you cut a slick as it would cause a horrible accident. Might think about raising the suspension up a bit...

Definitely more track time will get all the bugs worked out. Happy that its holding together for the most part, and getting seat time helps every pass.

Drivers side did sag some, and slightly rubbed the fender. But it has already been addressed, thanks though

Wow this is a CRAZY nice del sol street car! I would love to know what you painted your cage with? I have asked some people and they say just use dome rattle can. My problem is I drive my car and don't want to scratch the door bars up from getting in and out. I just have a hard time believing with my own experience that regular spray paint will hold up.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone.

Not sure what the cage is painted with, it was done by the shop that installed it. However I believe it was done with some "roll cage" rattle can paint. This **** is tough though, and takes quite a bit to scratch. even brake parts cleaner wont touch it! lol

vht makes "roll bar and chassis paint" works great.
