Default Slick Size

I have a eg with 500+whp wieghing <2200lbs with driver. I will be taking it to the track in a couple weeks and would like to know what slick size I should run. I have a stock gear gsr w/mfactory lsd and new stock axles. The two tires I have are 24.5x9x13 or 25x8.7x13. I am trying to get in the 10's.

Both should get the job done.

Yea either will work you are not going to see a huge difference with one or another. Although on your car you might find something that works better with one over the other just by luck haha. Like my car likes the m&h 25s a lot. So id say give those a shot.

i went 10.60 on stock axles with 25s..its all how you let the clutch out. 1.6 sixty foots too. those tires make you torn..wider yet not as tall..taller yet not as wide..Try them both! compare. in for results!

Figure the wider the tire the more you are going to put down and the harder it is going to hook. Your MPH should bump up with a taller tire but your 60's will be lower with a wider tire.

at your weight and power level with any of those slicks you should be in the mid to low 10's

Test fitted the 25" on the car yesterday. It's a close fit.

As long as your preload and launch right i see mid 10's easily, LOW 10's once launch control is on track and with the right driver. Looks like you need to raise the back end up a little more...
