Default Slicks?

I am about to buy some wheels from a friend. They are 15x6.5 or 7. I am not sure on the exact width yet. I was wondering what size slick or drag radial would be good for my car? I have a 2000 EX coupe w/ a built LS/VTEC turbo and a LSD. I am planning on running around 12-14 psi at the track. So around 320-340 whp. I have stock axles right now and was also wondering if the slicks or radials will kill my axles? I am not going to launch the car hard until I get some upgraded axles. Thanks for the info

How do you pre-load the axles? I have heard of that but just not familiar w/ how to do this. And how wide for the rim size that I have?

i'm not an expert on drag racing, but i believe you just get up to the line, release the clutch slowly until it grabs, yank the ebrake and rev it, then release ebrake and clutch at the same time and GO!

when you are at the line. hold the e-brake with the button in and rev up the motor to whatever you are launching at and basically slowly let out the clutch to the point of you feeling it grab and when the light goes green slip the clutch as you are letting the ebrake down. it happends really really fast when you are in the car and not typing it.

Ok so I just got the wheels and they are 15x7". What size slick would work best for that size wheel and where is the best place to purchase the tires from. Or if anyone has any used ones just let me know. Not looking to spend a fortune on this stuff. Thanks

Anyone? I need some help here. I can't find any info on what tires of wheels to buy. I am not looking to spend a ton of money on the set-up. Please help me. I don't think the wheels i got will work seeing that I think I at least need a 8" wide rime to fit some 24.5" slicks.

The 7"x15" wheel will be find, and go with the M&H 8.5/23-15 slicks.
