Default single wire alternator

I need to get a single wire alternator for my B16 EG. I am only running engine management, and tail lights, so I should be fine with a 50 amp. what brands do you recommend? who on HT sells them??

nothing wrong with it, but I am rewiring the whole car, or more like dewiring, I am installing DFI, and removing the entire harness since the DFI comes with its own, so I want to put a single wire setup in and be done with it, is there a way I can modify the stock alt to operate single wire??

Yes you can remove all the wires and make it a one wire alt, no problem. When you are finished you will actually have two wires, one that is the main power that will charge the battery and the other is just re routed to the output wire on the alt. Tell me what year alt you have and I can tell you exactly what you need to do.

The single wire should be Black/Yellow. It should be the top Right wire (theres 4) . Thumb Release side is the top

so basically blk/yel to the ignition and the white to the battery and I'm set. (i've abandoned all the other wiring in favor of a engine management system, so no eld or ecu to worry about.)
