PROFWD ROLL CALL (Built & in Construct)
You got a point, good moves will take you far in life, but a good strut is the building block of a successful future!
I want to build a QR25 engine! I have one in my car. That motor is supposed to be really kickass! We'll see, I may have to pull mine and build a fun street motor from it!

Did you do the sleeving for their QR25?

No, I wish I could say that I have sleeved one before. As some people put it, that motor is supposed to be the best 4 cyl. out of Japan in quite sometime! Looks like I will have to disect mine and get a start on it. That motor was supposed to replace the SR20, but there are rumors of a new design coming to replace the QR25 already.

After working on them since they came out, I can say that I don't quite care for the engine because of it's horrible r/s ratio, dual mass flywheel, balance shafts, and poor catalysts. However, since all that can be fixed, I guess it may turn out to be a good race engine. I hear that an SR20 crank wouldn't take much to go into the QR25 to destroke it.

Yeah, I was a little hard on my motor and it had to be replaced. The R/S is pretty bad, but if you build it with the proper compnents, I forsee no reason why it can't be a good race motor. The head is supposed to be the golden ticket with that thing. We'll see.
The best motor I have worked with to date, and I know this is going to make some of you mad, but I really like working with the Mazda I4 motor. That thing is really kick *** once you can get the right things for it!

I don't think Grant Downing is not allowed to work on other cars other thatn Del Worsham's funny cars. Last car he did was Jerrod Silvers car. Silvers car is supposedly getting the front end redone at Kens Kustom Khassis as wel las JOJO's car. Chris Rado's car is finally on the ground from what I hear, pics yet to be available.
Oh, and I have to differ with you Vince. Brent definately got the moves better than Charles. They dont call Brent John Travolta for nothin.

Vince must be buildin a PROFWD tube YUGO with the three cyl engine with a five speed Lenco huh? Triple turbo: one for each cyl. I seen it at his shop tooo hidden in his engine room. Post the pics of it Vince, nobody else has.

Grant, from what I hear, is no longer working with Venom. Don't think things ended well, but I can find out more on that tomorrow.

It was taped to his bug. During the 2003 race season he built to Cavaliers identical to the original. So that was a total of three Cavaliers. One that raced the 2003 race season. One with a stock motor in it to be paraded at local dealerships, and one for Lummus. That makes 17 KNOWN PROFWD cars. Supossedly. Brent is just lyeing to kick it with us in PROFWD. I think Brent is stilll waiting for Kobe to go down in the civil case once his sister sues KOBE for money for messen around with his sister. Then he can really start his car. HEHEHe</TD></TR></TABLE>
Ron>> Lummus did build two show cars for GM, but they have them both. I talked to him two weeks ago asked him if he had a deal with them. He was unsure at the time. So I don't know. From what I have heard, GM has actually taken one of the cars that he built for them and is cutting off the front end to make a race car out of it. As far as Jerrod is concerned, his car is sitting in his trailer, and not out at Ken's. And for the last time. VENOM is not building a ProFWD car. Maybe eventually they will, but it is not happening any time soon. And even if they were, a Mitsubishi Evo is not allowed in the ProFWD class, so they would have to race it in Modified. Is that finally put to bed???????????????????

So the count is at 15 with Venom out. but makes it 16 with Vince's PROFWD YUGO. J/K. As far as GM is concerned you think they will finally run the motor the other way considering they are cutting the front end off??? Will that be the car Nelson will drive??? We surely will see come February huh. Looks like no one has posted any pics yet. Still eager to see how everyone is doing. Nevertheless we willl probaly see all these car somewhat completed at the Los Angeles SEMA show. I think Yugo is having a booth there this April.
I wasn't going to let the cat out of bag so early but I guess it doesn't matter know, I just finished a Yugo head for Vince with a 40 mm intake and 37mm exhaust the head flowed 424 cfm on the intake and 317 on the exhaust. so if anyone thinks this Yugo is going to be a slouch better think of a backup plan now! Sponsored by Rainbow Bright and Care Bear racing this is going to be a force to be reckoned with in '04.

Anyone else getting in the mix. Did anyone find out if Brown's car is new?
