You can't beleve how dissapointed i am fabman... I am sitting here in my hotel room in Indy at the PRI show, I wass looking for Rob Moore, cuz I thougth you said he would have a display of your tranny, but he has nothing Heck, the only one to have their FWD tranny on display is G-Force, and it is a nice unit. But it is air shiftd and NHRA won't allow it. It doesn't make since, cuz they allow it in all motor, but not in Hot Rod???? Whatt the F is up with that???? My first time here to PRI, but won't be my last. BTW, I hear they outlawed Kenny Tran's new Tranny. That sux...To anyone not here, you are missing out. To anyone who thinks Venom will have a ProFWD for next year. Set down the bong and go to your nearest AA meeting.

There is a miscommunicaton somewhere. From what I heard last night at dinner, Kenny's tranny is no longer legal, and neither is the G-Force. The reason the G-Force is no longer legal, is because it is air shifted. I got that straight from Mike Long's mouth. He said he was going to have to make up an H-Pattern shifter in order for NHRA to accept it. As far as Kenny"s problem, Air shifting was one problem, the other is a packaging issue. these are both facts that I got from both of those people personally. Hope I got that all cleared up. there was a misunderstanding on my part about your tranny. I was thinking it was going to be there. Hope to see it soon. Other than that, the show was awesome. Looks like it will only be here for one more year, and then is supposed to move to Orlando or something. We will see.

yes john in hot rod but in pro fwd we can air shift,it says each individual shift must be a function of the driver and controlled manually or pneumatically, the driver must pull the lever or push the buttom...... so john ther was no trans for pro fwd....the new gm car is a g-force right??????

Which car do you want to put it in? The lenco for the b series that nhra won't allow is for sale. I don't know what series you run in, but if they allow it then it's by far the best thing available. It won't break, you can full throttle shift, and you can soften the shifts if you want, to help not break the tires loose.

I think this 2004 race season for PROFWD will be full of cars breakin everything and anything. I believe in trying new things. Wheely bar being the first one. I applaud race teams doing crazy stuff but I worry about the safety of these vehicles. I hope most of these PROFWD cars will be built correctly and treated as if they were PRO front wheel drive vehicles and not as ghetto vehicles. These cars are going sooo fast now and all it takes is one ghetto thing to be implemented into these cars and next thing your know we will see some bad things happening with people losing some serious money or losing there lives or what not. It is no wonder why the NHRA is implementing some stringent rules in the PROFWD class. I wish the best of luck to all those who are trying new things, dont skimp on nothin!
