I got that from that same press release.

 

We are very happy with our current set and have no problems whatso ever with the setup. Right now we are just trying to keep the head on the block. we made some serious space shuttle stuff to keep it on. Vince has got it all figured out. If all goes well we should be able to post some serious mph with some serious matching Et's. I tshould be really good, God willing. I have faith in everyone who is helping us. Should be good.

 

Are the fortin's holding for you guys. No hate towards lisa (been a fan for awhile) but I would like to see a import powered car take the 7 second barrier record first. godluck next season.-pdang

 

Yeah we have had no problem whatsoever with the Fortin's. It has been really good to us and after one season with one fortin transmission we took it apart after the season and it looks surprisingly brand new. We have pushed the fortin to 1000hp with 30 inch tall tires 11 inches in width. No problems. we don't understand why all the other teams are having such bad luck with them but nevertheless thank God for all the good luck with our only tranny. We hope to conquer the seven second barrier before the season starts. Thanks for all the luck!

the big prob wiht the fortin is the shift rods and shift forks, ther is no support at the end of the rod its just .625 rod and if you pull to hard it bends the rod and it sticks in two gears then ther is a prob.....

i'm a behind the scenes guy..new setup..will be out of control...2spd glide to a 9" in the front mated to f20c
it will go 7's..
