Default Preferred rear spring rate

I'm looking to replace my rear springs with something better suited for drag racing. I see most of the drag coilovers come with 18kg rear springs. The places I've looked for springs rate them in pounds. I converted the pounds to kg but it didn't seem to come out right. I was looking at some 1000lb springs. Converting that to kg came out to like 430kg. Obviously I know they aren't that much different than the typical 18kg springs do in pounds, what would be ideal? Is 1000lb way too much? They'll be going on a 92cx hatch. Track only. The car should be pretty light.

I found a formula. I'm guessing 1000# should be fine. I'd still like input though.

I would recommend a spring 200-300lbs above the rear weight of the car. Dampening is more important that spring.
