Precision has some of the worst customer service i have ever experienced..i sent them a turbo to get rebuilt and they sent me back a completely different turbo..which resembled nothing close to mine..they had no idea where mine was...then i sent them injectors to clean and it took about 3 weeks..until i called them and they said they had finished them over a week ago and no one called me..Precision FTL

So which springs are missing? I see 5 needed on the chart. Natural, yellow, red, green and blue.

In the box only come 3 unless there are 2 inside the gate.

even if if only comes with 3 it's still a better value than Tial 44

looks great but i do have questions that maybe someone can answer
does anyone know if the flange comes in aluminum for bov applications?
does anyone know if the bottom port is sealed for running co2 like i believe the hks ones are so you dont leak co2

btw great post

ok spring pressures make sense now with 2 being in the gate. BTW, is the outlet flange the same size as the tial 44?

If tial comes out with an MVS 44, it would be game over

I really like how Precision's kits include extra springs and extra hardware that may be used to you're needing. I am very impressed with the new 46mm and the price comparison! I have one on the way. The only thing that I noticed that I was not to keen on was the diaphragm used in the precision unit. The material looks very similar to the ebay wastegates. I look forward to hearing some results and to test mine out!

No one has said where these are made, and no one has shown how far the piston opens at full stretch yet. I still think those are two important items.

LOL! Thanks for the translation assistance! I wasn't really wanting to imply that they were Chinese, and I guess that isn't necessarily the end of the world, but I like the fact that the TiALs are made right here, and are really high quality pieces.

As for the other part of my not so plain English, I guess it was the use of the term "full stretch"? LOL. . . . Sorry about that! I guess I was just envisioning the diaphragm pulling to open the gate, and getting to the limit of its. . . travel?

The problem that I've seen with an XO2Racing ("high quality Chinese" Haha) 44mm wastegate I have is simply that there isn't enough travel to provide the valve curtain area or whatever it would correctly be called.

I am curious if they are leaded fuel safe as well, I would imagine they are but wanted to verify for those of us who run on leaded fuels primarily.

I'm curious to see how these run, i'm glad for the price competition. I always wondered why 44s we're so much more than 38s.

I have installed and tuned a few cars with these wastegates. They are very high quality and work great. Plus I have a bunch of extra springs around the shop that will also work in a Tial gate
