Default p2w clearance for high comp k24

Gonna be attempting my first build soon. the block will consist of wiseco 87.5mm 14.3:1 pistons. Will be run on e85 for the street and q16 for track. It will see street time but won't be a daily. Was thinking of going with wisecos recommended of .0035 but want to hear from more experienced builders.

Doesn't piston alloy also play a role? High vs low silicon?

350Hp more or less. I'm not too concerned with the hp numbers as I am of my et goal of 10s.

I'm pretty sure it's 2618 alloy. Just a regular Wiseco shelf piston.

If they are shelf Wiseco pistons they recommend .0025" Piston to wall according to the spec sheet.

I had a 88x99 K24 with the Wiseco K650M88 14.2:1 compression pistons and I ran my Piston to wall at .0035" and had no issues. Pistons looked new when I took engine apart for inspection.

You're correct. After Looking at the sheet again it is .0025.

So far from everything I've been reading .0030-.0035 is optimal.
