Default Noob Launch Question...

I have a 95 ls and i was wondering what the best launch is? i do about 2500rpm and i just slowly let out halfway my clutch before i drop it.... is that any good or not?

Basically where should i launch at?

bounce it off the limiter naw fo real try at abt 4k and work ure way down or up ull find a good spot

Launch a couple 1000 RPM's higher and feather the gas if you feel like you're spinning too much.

Depends what kind of setup you have, its what ever works for you...
If you have a stock setup i recommend dropping the clutch @2500 rpms. then feather the gas till you reach your desired level of traction.

with my ls swap i brought up the rpms to 3-3.5 and held it there, then slooooowly depressed the cluthc till it grabed a very small amount then wait till green light then at the same time let go of clutch and slam that gas pedal al the way down and dont get off till u done woopin some ***

by the way i was using azenis too

Like the previous comments say, you gotta basicly find the sweet spot. but it also makes a differance with the tires you are using. If you are using low profile tires on say 16" or 17" rims, you will want to rev somewhere around 3500, if you are on stock tires, drop the psi to about 25 and rev to about 3000. if you are on street slicks such as nitto 555r's or bfg's (@ 15psi) you might want to try 4000 rpm or so.

like what everyone said--every car is different and you need to just experiment with the different rpms and how you hold/feather the clutch.
