What knuckles are those? Ive seen them on a couple cars now and have always wondered what they were. Are they from a OEM vehicle? Custom made?

Are the knuckles off of an OEM VW application? Are they aftermarket pieces?

Upon closer inspection, it appears that they are an aftermarket set-up. Looks like they are aluminum (trick too, I might add). They probably use the Chevy S10 4x4 front wheelbearing assy. like all the strut front ends that Extreme Performance made.

Car looks great! Good luck!

Don't take this the wrong way.. but I am wondering:
I am going to assume you are willing to delete VTC, delete VTEC. I already see you deleted the fuel injection, deleted the coil on plug ignition and converted it to carbs and riged it to run a distributor.

Why run a Kseries motor then? No disrepect, just thinking out loud really. The 8620 billet steel for your cams is an excellent choice!

No disrespect to the K motor, I am a long time racer that manufactured the 62 mm Terminator down draft carburator years ago and my company specialized in carbs and ignition systems for the VW industry. All I am doing is what I know!!
Building this motor has been a exsperience and am very impressed with engineering of this motor from the factory.

Why would he run a different motor? Tall deck, big bore, 350cfm head, and aluminum rockers. What is VTC and VTEC anyway?
