Default n2o involved bogging problem

right when i hit it, my car bogs then takes off...

keeping in mind i still have my stock fuel pump, i've read that people that have this problem have to run completely seperate fuel pumps just for the nitrous BUT will a walbro 255 fix this problem?

also, i think that maybe its pushing enough fuel but it just cant burn all the fuel that i'm dumping in (stock ignition + .028 fuel jet) i think this is possible because if you have hit the button w/o your bottle on this is what it feels like.

any ideas of how i can find out w/o a wideband would be sweet

What spark plug?
What gap?
What Nitrous jet?
What is you bottle pressure?
Sounds like a lean spike..........but without more info it is hard to say.
How is your bottle mounted?
Do you have a purge?
Does it clear up and haul ***?
Does it pop and fart the whole pass?
What brand system? NX, NOS, ZEX,???????

I doubt your sweet narrow band is fast enough to read a lean spike.
Without purgung, yes it could bog at the hit.

If you activate the nitrous until it feels good.....................Basically purging the feed line..................then hit it again, does it bog................if it does, it is caused by a lean spike!

If not you just need a purge.

52 nitrous is good for 100hp
28 fuel is about 80hp so it is a bit lean to begin with (unless you are in the 50-60psi fuel range)
The stock fuel pump is being taxed above 75hp (24fuel jet @ 45psi fuel pressure)
Do you have any 90* fittings on the fuel side of the system? If so that is a bad idea.

What WET nozzle are you using?
Where is the nozzle located? AND how far from the Throttle body?

I had the exact same problem in my coupe. As soon as I put a Walbro 255 pump in the car...problem was gone. Now as soon as the n20 is engaged, car is out.Put a pump in.A purge kit will not solve the problem although it is a good idea to have one.

fmunk, what kind of nitrous jet calculator are you using? all the ones i've found say that its about a 125 shot w/ equivalent fuel jet...

and like i said, i have a purge kit.. just didnt try using it seems to be too big of problem to be coming from a short burst of air

also i'd love to have a wideband but dont have the funds for that or data logging........ or a dyno pull. kthanks

pump it is than

My Hp number was to the TIRE.

A fuel pump will do the trick.

also are you using a N/A chipped ecu? and what r u using to retard the timing! if your using a digital 6 i used to have the same problem! but it actually used to help me get off the line faster with less tire spin on the streets but i no longer race on the streets so i never bothered to fix the problem!
