my bumper setup
figured I'd show you guys how My bumper Setup is. This may help someone who is considering or trying to decide how to setup their bumpers on a quik-latch setup. Turbo elements (Ihaveturbos) did the fab work and design. I just directed my ideas on this one. lol Hope it helps someone. If not its still kinda cool. Quik-latch.com

yeah, i dont even have to attach the top of the bumper anymore its solid. I can actually take the fenders off completely and it should stay on. Everything is independently mounted

stupid strong. like 200lbs per latch or something like that.
My main reason to do them is for simplicity and quickness. Last year the few times i made it to the track taking my bumper off was just a pita. Then when i loaded the car back on the trailer it was a pain. Then id always have to put my bumper in the bed of my truck cause it takes too much time to put it back on when trailering it. Last night when i loaded it took me 20 sec in the dark and just feeling around till it snapped in while on the trailer. Didnt have to turn the wheels or anything just snap it. That's worth the money for me. I dont have the patience for dealing with clamps and fastners. I need easy lol, keeps me calm lol.
the nut keeps the latch on the bumper and the stud is attached to the inside

yeah i think they are cleaner too. No rivets and whatever else is envolved in those. Thats just me though. I wanted it if i asked my wife to take the bumper off, she ask what tool and I say, your finger, "Push the damn button". I dont think they are bulky. They are about the size of quater, just about a 1/8thin bigger if that. with maybe a 1/4in rise off the hood or bumper.
what about the mounting from the back side? paneling plays a big roll in fastners. i just cant see this being more beneficial then dzus. i love them for hoods, and fenders but like a kick panel or electrical panels on a floor board wouldnt be ideal. look heavy. but im just picky like that.
but great write up on them.
bumpers for sure i would use these. paneling not so much. also how does the quick latch tension itself to the piece that is being mounted?
