Default Microtech Stand alone???

Do you guys get the Microtech Stand alone computer in the States. I've just fitted the system to my car and WOW, what a difference!!!

On a stingy dyno I went from 103hp to 110hp BUT gained 10-12 (stingy) hp from 5500 to 7500!! As a comparison I'm making about 137 whp according to calculators ie 1800lb @ 100 mph

The system is windows based and is

Is it available U.S???

Why bother with a standalone when you haven't even done cams yet??? I haven't heard anything good about microtech when tuning 4 cylinders myself, with rotaries yeah.... How much is it?? Sorry I am from NZ so can't answer your question...

I've heard of some of the rotary guys useing it, but i don't have any experience with it. Doesn't Siguel run it? He's running alright, can't be all bad. How much does that system go for anyway?

as los as $600. Not sure in the states tho. Saw it on a 4G63T install. Just like HALTEC, MOTEC, SDS. It is only as good as the tuner/installer.

Tony1: Goes for about $1000 retail in aussie pasos, which is about $500 U.S.
Fitted the dash that is an option today. Has bar graph tacho, three shift lights and gives readouts from all sensors (temp in degrees C, voltage, TPS (in percent).

I'll try and get a mate to take some photos of the dash in the coming days

turbozxi: Lets see, tunablity, power, SIMPLE to use/diagnose, power, power and power. I dont think cams would give 18% more power all threw the top end and if they do I'll be ready to retune for them. Cams are also dearer. All in all, I AM RAPT.

Racing tomorrow. Will advise
