Question for Ontario guys about Toronto tuner "Neetronics"
Attention all Ontario H-T boost heads. I was recommended by a friend to check out a place called Neetronics to get my S200b tuned when I get it going. I have never heard about them, but I'm sure lots of people have because apparently they're pretty well known in T.O. I'd just like to know what the local Ontario crew thinks of these guys... (good tuning? prices? service? etc)

i dont have any personal experiance with them but i hear they do excelent ECU dyno tuning.
also i heard they do very conservitve tunes......meaning you probably wont see big HP dyno numbers but your tune will be very safe..
good luck

Re: Question for Ontario guys about Toronto tuner "Neetronics" (non-VTEC)
i've met Paul. He is very intelligent and likely will do a good job tuning your car.
please make sure your part throttle tuning is done strictly on the street in real conditions so any glitches can be tuned out otherwise prepare to be disappointed

Re: Question for Ontario guys about Toronto tuner "Neetronics" (GruvyTune)
Thanks for that advice. Do they actually do tuning on the street? I thought they were dyno only...

I had my itr tuned there last year hondata s100, and I was very happy with his customer service. My gm 3 bar didn't work when I got there so they made one for me that was designed by him. Not bad because I thought I was getting towed back home very disappointed.

They made you a map sensor? That's really cool, it sounds like they know what they're doing. I think I'll be tuning with them. Anyone know how much a full tune will cost or how much they charge? It will be D16Y8 turbo, DSM 450's, OBD2a>OBD1 conversion + chipped P28 runnning Hondata S200B. It's my daily driver.

i thought he charged less than that.........?
i guess he charges by the ammount of work/tuning/time involved......

Re: (btotherizzle)
I'm lookin to get my set up tuned soon. I heard a that neetronics hooks up a laptop to your ecu and tunes from that with pretty descent results, the guy I spoke to had his del sol tuned to 233whp @ 9psi for $800, a bit more than I intended to spend.

Re: (B18badboy)
If he charges by time, hopefully it will be less for me. I'll be going in with a basemap tune for the same setup almost... it shouldn't take that long to tweak depending on how different the two setups are.

Re: (Cee_mon)
Paul does do decent work.
There have been quite a few turbo hondas tuned there that have turned out just fine.
hes the only one in the area that I would bother getting tuned by.

Re: (Cee_mon)
Hondata boost/turbo tuning... $650-800 based on an average tune
That is a seriously large amount of money, and I want to make sure I'm going in for the right thing before I dish out $800.

Re: (CycloneBlue_1.6EL)
Yes we make our own map sensors, that we solely built to help us aid in our tuning. The sensors on the market were not perfect in our opinion. There is always room for improvement Paul's real passion is electronics, now that we have moved into the new place we can concentrate on making more products for the performance market. Lots of products will be released soon, stay tuned.
