okay once again why is a fuse needed? There are fuses in the main fuse box(under hood) I understand if this a full drag car but on a street car is it neccesary or better to put 1 on.
I would understand that it might be better because maybe you dont want so high of an amperage going to a componet that might not be able to handle that kind of load....

you dont need it for a car that has the factory relay/fuse box underhood.. it already has, an 80 or 100 amp fuse in it. its the 1st thing the power goes through..
on a drag car, you are going to get rid of that relay/fuse box. so it would probably be smart to put an inline 80 or 100 amp fuse/breaker.

Great, I knew the stock fuse box already had 1 I was just wondering why you would have to put another...
I understand that in a race car you take it out and therefore would need that fuse/breaker to control amperage!

It does not control amperage.... it limits excessive amperage past the rated fuse or breaker.

when a car has a relocated battery or the vehicle runs 9.99 or faster a battery kill switch is mandatory!
Its in the rule book.

sometimes i need more knowledgable knowhow to help me out with some stuff...
btw with my schematic i originallyposted i switched it so that all teh main feed wires like the remote terminal starter are allon the side where theyre directly onto the battery +.....the only wires that were modified were the alternator wire and the main fusebox wire.....run those on one side of the switch, on the other end, have two wires both going to the fuse box and viola' car is killed with the flick of a switch. if anyone wants me to make a diagram with the mods pm mehehe
btw when i switched this, the started i guess had a stronger signal and cranked over the car alot easier than how i had it before.

Bringing this back up. Where do you run your start wire and the other wire from the fuse block?
I need the easiest way to wire this dam thing up so I pass tech this weekend. I have not slept for a few days now and any help would be great. Thanks
