Default Launching Tips

How high do you guys usually rev before letting out the clutch when launching? and do you have any tips for a good launch cuz I suck a lil right now.

check out the drag racing forum im sure they have a lot of good threads about this. but to answer ur question 6900-7200 slipped down too 4800-ish is what i try to attempt each time. ive been able to pull pretty consistent 60 foot times with azenis.

well here's what i do. i hold the rpm at 2300-2500 then pop the clutch. thats just enough for power and at the same time not enough to just sit at the line and spin'em. usually ill double clutch or slip the clutch to gain a lil edge at 2nd and 3rd gear. i am also open to suggestions

Me i launch at 4-4.500 and feather the clutch/gas a little bit and listen to the enigne and tire spin going at it before flooring it. mY tIp!

i just use my 2step it ar 3000 rpm . if i don't use it i just sit there

It all depends on the car.... if you got LSD like me, well I launch at about 6.5-7k (I'm not very consistent) and aftetr the initial chirp, let it down to about 4.6k and take it from there. Important to stay in VTEC for the 1st and 2nd gear at least.
