it was cool chillin with the crew in the Exospeed pit and watch Norris help out Saul with his K'd rex.
once Saul gets a chance to dial up everything with his setup it's gonna be BEAST for sure.

I just got home a few minutes ago and I'm tired so I'll keep this short.
It was a crazy weekend. I've never put together something like this so everything was a first time experience for me. All I can say is that it wouldnt have happened with out the help of dozens of people to help make it run well. I want to say alot more so I'll go through a new post on a full recap of the weekend in a day or so.
Like I said to some people today. I would do this again and would not hesitate to make something like this happen again. I'm just pumped right now, as tired as I am and possibly have walked over 20 miles the past 2 days, I would come back tomorrow and do this again.
Just a quick thanks(I'll do a detailed one later) to all the sponsors, Randy for helping running this next to me, our friends that pitched in to do all kinds of duties, and the racers/crews who believe in this and made it that they could race our event. I thank you all for be part of the Inaugural L.A. Outlaw FWD Invasion.

Believe it or not. We had over $15,000 worth of parts and gift certificates on that table.
Those 4 big brown envelopes total $3000 vouchers for Hondata products.

^ Jeremy Bretschneider won in Turbo v. Anthony DiNallo. Anthony Red lit and Jeremy broke at the line. Unfortunate that it wasnt a side by side racing. Another time.
Leo G won All motor vs John Sauro(Trevtec)
Was a good race, but Leo took it at the end for the win.
We're compiling the pictures right now and we'll do a recap of the race in a day or so.

Does anyone have the last qualifying list from Monday morning and the round by round eliminations for Monday for both the classes? There hasn't been any "official" updates with times and competitors in the classes and im curious to see how things went.

didn't take too many pics, but i'll share what i have:
a look at Saul Salceda's setup while he was waiting in line.
GPR representin' on John Park's bad@$$ boosted DC2. car ran a 9.6 the first day.
Norris Prayoonto in Saul Salceda's pit, with James Lin workin' the Motec
Saul vs Leo.
(congrats to Leo on the 10.7 run after spending all night swapping in the backup motor)
this 'stang ran a 7.95 the 2nd day. my favorite domestic; sounded like a jet on the track.
forgot who's setup this is from SD..but it was pretty clean.

There were 9 turbo cars that were going for the class. 4 couldnt make it to run qualifying. Had issues from tech to engine probs.
There were about 12 all motor cars but only 9 were able to actually get into the actual competition.
The whole Utah crew broke stuff the day before they were to leave so that took out 3 cars in the field. Thats racing though... we're working on the next event already.
Whats interesting is seeing a couple new cars that I've never seen before. They could be contenders in the class. Anyone see that White EG coupe with the K-series in TNT? It was putting out some numbers I heard. Also cool was a couple of the usual "street racer" guys talked to me in getting their cars legal for competition. They're done with the street stuff and looking into prepping their cars for track competition. Good to see that they were inspired by seeing these other cars and that they can really hang with them if they just got the right cage and parachute.
