Default kirkey seats

anybody know how much the kirkey economy drag seats weigh? And are they bottom mount or side mounted?

hey paul they are side mounted i believe...i dont know how much they weigh but its not much... i ran an intermediate in my race car however i bottom mounted mine by the center harness hole and then again by the headrest hole up top! so you can mount them either way i suppose

There is no mounting holes . These drag seats are to be mounted in all sorts of custom apps so its up to the fab guy. Its the lightest out there for the money can't go wrong. I have four lower side mounts and one back support mount.

the brackets i belive are a L shaped piece of aluminum. all you need to do is , weld a 4 pieces of like 1/8 thick steel to the floor(2inch sqaures or a bit bigger if you like), use 4 seatbelt tabs(weld them to the plates on the floor) bolt the bracket on, than mount the seat on the bracket.
