just go to your local quarter mile, and run it. The car can run a certain time, but depending on how you drive/launch your car, it will be different. Go to the track and just be reliable on the times you get. After you go post your slip.

i went on sunday, but didnt run. ive had to save all my money for school this upcoming year, which sucks because i have none to put into my car to the OP i would say you need to just get some more practice. all 3 times i went last year in the integra, my times went down each visit. i went to the track opening weekend with by b16 hatch, and was disappointed. i ran a 15.1 at 90, which isnt bad for the trap speed, but i know i wouldve hit high 14s if not for the wheelhop. i was using new azenis, and getting decent launches, but right after the initial wheelspin, when i shouldve been accelerating spin-free, the wheels hopped so bad my cd player fell out

and i also noticed that a lot of cars were running shitty times considering their power/setup. there was a white and black eg with a itb'd k series... running a 14.1. the all about speed 30 psi zc ran a 13.0 at like 118, although that was due to tuning problems mostly. there was even a mid-late 90s manual gt mustang with atleast exhaust that ran a 16.1 the only run i saw.
