Default import wars

hey guys, i went to import wars this weekend in union grove. it was my first time at the track and i left very happy. i ran a 15.049 @ 93.59 MPH with an almost stock b16, i would of hit a high 14 but shifted to 3rd early. did any one else go to this?

thanks guys, i was just really happy about my time and cant wait till the next import wars so i can go for a 14.

We ran 15.2 in a 4 door with a D16A6... You need to be going faster.

Yeah a girl I know ran a 15.2 in a all stock 91 si, all it had was an AEM cold air. My one friend had been clocking 14.3's in his Hatch with a I/H/E B16. I dunno I auto-x it's allot more fun, you should try it.

damn i thought i was doing good.... there was 2 other b16s there both in efs and they were running 15.4s and an integra with a h22 was running 15.08, that was his best time.... but i also heard that the track was horrible cuz it was so hot but i dont know much about the track stuff since that was my first time.

what do u think i should be hitting?

You did good for your first time. Some moron was running 16.2's in a H22 eg hatch here last week. Just keep racing it, and you'll get your times down. Play with the tire pressure, and try launching at different RPMs. Tires really mean allot too. I drag a few times, but it became too boring for me.

ya i started off launching really low and i was not running good then i started launching at about 3800rpms and my times were going down. i never did play with my tire pressure but i didnt have very good tires anyway lol

i really like the drags alot. cant wait for the next one!

i was there, didnt run my car tho. There was a ten second evo there. My friend commented on the kids car and his dad mentioned that he paid for it all. damn rich kids. Anyways, lots of hatches, besides the sunburn, sweet day

ya the kid who owns the 10 sec evo is a really good friend of mine. his dad did pay for it all but his dad is loaded. he runs 10.3s with out nitrious. that car is sweet as hell. ya there were alot of hatches down there, alot of eg's. i had alot of fun... the last race that the evo ran in he redlighted and lost to elneno.

Damn, 16's? I ran a 15.2 in my bone stock si rex. only a sohc zc notec swap. otherwise, bone *** stock.

Did you see my first post? A girl I know ran a 15.2 in a STOCK 91 Si, all it had was an AEM cold air. Both of you are probally good drivers.

i am from ohio and i went. it was alot of fun and i think i would go again we dont have alot of mostly honda things around here. what would a 91 hatch with a mpfi swap intake and exhaust run?

wow thanks buddy i really apreciate it... im not going to sit here and argue with u so ya maybe i am a bad driver but thats not what i have been told

but thanks any way...

it was fun as hell i really recomend people to go... sept the sun burn kinda hurts today lol

ill check when i get home, i never did get any good launches and i didnt have good tires but ill post my hole slip when i get home

ya, 93mph is good for mid to high 14's depending on your short times.

i think his last race was against me. i know he redlit against me(quick 8), but did he also in the frantic 7 also?
all and all good day, Hot as hell but you just have to adjust for that
it was like 95 degrees so track temps where prob 120-130deg.
