I was wondering how much boost I can push in a USDM Type r motor. Has anybody went 10-12 psi on this setup before. My hondata is tuned for 5 psi, but want to boost more without killin the motor. It has a straight T3 turbo with RC's 370's and a stock 93 DX fuel pump. The USDM type r motor has a 10.6 compression compared to JDM 11.4. Just curious folks. want to go faster down the 1320

 

The motor can handle plenty more power than you are putting down now. It is power that you should base what a motor can handle on not "XX psi". Just make sure that if you're upping the boost that you retune/get a retune for the new boost/power level. An injector and fuel pump upgrade should be put on your agenda as well. There is a bright red icon in the upper right hand corner that says " <FONT COLOR="red"> SEARCH </FONT> ". Any further questions you may have can be answered there. Good luck.
