IE header is the best bang for the buck. But from what i heard ranta18 doesn't make them anymore. Correct me if im wrong ranta18. I've got one in my hatch and i love it.

LOL... Thanks 2.2L EH2. Look at his user stats. https://honda-tech.com/zero...25565 - Been a member for 1 day, 1 post, No name, etc. Sounds more like he's the joke.

You are correct. I am no longer making them. HP gains ranged from 13 hp over DC to 17 hp over stock. The one shown was the prototype. The welds looked much better on the production ones.

Right now I'd say the best to get would be SMSP, Hytech, AN-R, or DTR

I'm sorry that you think I'm A joke,But I really thought that someone was just trying to be funny.Put that header up against any other one on here and you will laugh also.

And I take that very hard to believe that it made 17 more horse power
than a Stock header.Who welded it ?One of Jerry's kids. Why would you make the welds on the prototype look like that?Whats the difference?

You can have you own opinoin. Here are the 2 dyno comparisons on two different motors. The first one is vs stock, the second vs DC. The mods were just i/h/e, but the DC one also had some VAFC tuing.
http://imagineengineering.com/dynotest_stock.jpg
http://imagineengineering.com/dynotest.jpg

The welds on the prototype were made in a hurry compared to the others. We were trying to get it done and tested as soon as we could. The TIG welds on the actual production headers were top notch quality. Flawless, just like the SMSP, DTR, and Hytech headers I've seen. Those guys do a good job

I no longer make them. I was just showing my old design. I don't want to start a huge heated debate about this and by your user stats and the fact that your first 2 posts were against me, leads me to believe this is what you want to do. If you have any other questions about it or want to talk about why you think the header isn't as good as the others, feel free to PM me and we can talk more.

If that one doesn't, I'm sure he can make on that does. This one does as well:

This is the header we're using...... its from sauls crx and i think he got it from ericks racing and i heard erick gets his headers made by hytech so i guess you can call it a hytech header. lol. anyway, the header made 23whp over a greddy header on prostreets dyno. we're pretty happy with it. i am on the market for a new header though so if anyone of the big header guys can help me out i would appreciate it. its definatly going to have to be a custom made header. let me know! thanks

As far as I know, Randy Monroe make's Ericks headers, and the headers sold by Erick's Racing are made by Steve Brown at Rage.

Me personally, I'm going with the RMF. Randy is the one that designed the ANR/Rage etc. And his fab skills are much better than those other guys. Cheaper than a hytech or smsp too.

No I didn't make THAT one .But I did make the first one.The one that is on Ericks car. That is one of the copies of the one on his car.Made by Steve Brown. An ex.
employee of mine.
And no its not a Hy-tech .That header is mild steel and makes power.

randy your headers are aewsome!! remember that first one you did for me? it worked great! made lots of power and lasted a very long time with track abuse. see ya around.

Power is the main part of the equation when building a header. But Fit, Finish, and Refinement is also another aspect that should be top priority. Regardless Hytech looks as good as they perform.

Max ,Hy-Tech's stuff is beautiful.I don't think I have seen anything nicer looking. The reason that I don't just do stainless headers is .Out of the last 50 headers ,I have only had 4 people want stainless ones. And that's in the last 3 months.

Yea i figured that... Some people are bit too frugal and dont want to pay to get the best quality. I have used your product with much success, and it is of a very high caliber. Dont worry there are still people out there who want nothing less then the best. But you definetly wont find them on here unfortunatly.(just a word of advise) see ya around randy.
