Default Good Semi Slick Option

Most of the discussion on here is about slicks. over here in NZ we must run on a DOT approved tyre to run in street class.
I was wanting to use a HOOSIER quick time pro tyre but that shortest tyre they make is 26inches. I am going to assume this is too tall.
I run an s80 gearbox and am in 4th gear for quite a while.

Just wandering what you guys would suggest as a good tyre option. Must be semi slick.

What size DOT are you looking for, 24" 25" or 26" and how wide. John@M&H

well 22-23, on a 15" wheel.
The wheel is 6 1/2 wide so can squeeze a 235 tyre on, but a 215 or 225 would still be fine.
Would appreciate any help.

Your gonna have trouble getting a acceleration oriented tyre with those specs. Even a 205/50 x 15 is 23 inch. Even if they made a 235 tyre it'd have to be a 30 series to stay under 23 inches on a 15 inch rim.

205/50 x 15 BFG Drag Radials for you.......

Well I have a DOT tire but it is in a P235/60-14 = ( T.W. 7.5" ) ( S.W. 9.8" ) ( Dia. 25.0" ) ( Cira. 78.4" ) ( Rim Size. 6.5" )-------

and I do have a P235/60-15= ( T.W. 7.5" ) ( S.W. 9.8" ) ( Dia. 25.4 ) ( Circ. 80.0" ) ( Rim Size. 6.5" )

I was just making sure I can help in anyway. John@M&H
