Default which to go with FD or LSD?

FWD + gsr/b16 transmission + under 300whp....

Correct me if i'm wrong.

My thought process is that bang for buck in order to reduce my time, I would be best off with a 4.5 or 4.9 FD than say a high quality LSD.

It's possible to get decent 1.8-2.0 sec 60ft times w/out LSD givin the proper slicks, so it would best to get a FD before forking over money for a LSD unit right?

I'm not into drag racing much, so please educate me.

I would get the LSD first. The shorter FD is going to make your traction worse (even if you use a 3.07x 1st gear with it), so I'd wait until you have the LSD to add the FD in.

final drive.

Why not wait it out until you get both and put them in together? That way you can do it all in one shot instead of having to take the LSD back out to install the ring gear.
