Default full throttle launch questions about techique

I been playing around FTL over the past few days.I currently have it set to 4k rpm I can build about 1lb of boost. When I launch I have to slip the clutch to keep from spinning the tires. Should I lower the FTL rpm? If I raised it could I build more boost?

Do you have it set for 4000rpms for launching on the street or the track, cause if you have that set at the track its not enough. I have been running Falkens set to 12psi launching at 5800rpms in a EK with a GSR and pulling 2.0 60fts. My best 60ft time ever was launching at 7000rpms on Falkens at the track, I pulled a 1.9 60ft.
Boost is built under engine load, your not going to build boost just by reving your engine or having rpms high. I would guess that if you launched higher and were able to control the tire spin you could have very good 60ft times because once you start goin off the line your rpms are already high enough that you should have plenty of boost. Only thing that would suck for you is if you have a GSR tranny SI tranny where 1st gear is really short, you would basically have no first gear coming off the line cause it would be over right after 60ft. Just work on launch, youll get it, I used to go behind a Costco where I lived and practiced launching, id do like 3 or 4 at a time, leave for a while then head back for some more.
