Just curious. I heard that the top fuel racers normally burn about 15 gallons of nitro during a single run. How much fuel are the top guys in imports burning?

 

i would have to estimate less than 1 gallon from the time the car is started before the water box, until it makes it to the return road. probably closer to a half of a gallon.

our meth car was burning about 1.25 gallons a pass with 8 injectors now we are going to have 12 so should almost be 2gallons.(damn rotarys drink) thats from start of motor till the return lane

 

Damn I thought they would burn more like 5 gallons. Being 15/2=7.5.
