Default Car not starting!

Alright my brother just dropped a cx motor in his 93 hatch because the old dx motor was blown and he needed something to get it running. he dropped the motor in and when it was all done he tried to start it. The car turns over and sparks but there is no fuel.

He checked fuel at the rail and there is plenty of fuel there. the problem is that the injectors are not firing. he pulled the plugs and they were dry he also tried to crank it over with the plugs out and there was no fuel spraying ou of the cylinders.

Also since the car was sitting for a long time he thought the gas was bad so he took some from the rail and lit it on fire and it went right up in flames so that ruled out bad gas.

Foot notes: car turs over, has spark, fuel at the rail, no fuel out of injectors.

Does the fuel pump prime when the key is in the ON position?

yeah it does. there is a lot of fuel tht comes out of the fuel line that goes to the rail. so that rules out fuel pump and main relay. the problem here is that i'm not getting an injector pulse in any of the cylinders.

could be a cam pos. sensor or a crank pos. sensor, they cut injectors if there not working, how did you test your injector pulse? may seem like a dumb question but did you check the timing bely and or tesioner on the new engine?

i don't think this motor has the crank sensor. i will check the cam sensor inside the dist. if anyone else has anymore suggestions post them up. oh btw i didn't test the injectors i just came to the conclusion that since i am getting a spark, fuel at the rail, fuel pump is priming and the plugs are dry that the injectors are not firing.

ok i just tested the injectors and i'm gettting constant power on the yellow and black wire and on the second wire i'm getting power when the injector is not firing and then it goes out when it fires for like a 10th of a second. correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the yllow and blak wire supposed to be the ground wire. if so then why am i getting power there?
