i haven't spoken to fred in a few months but i would find it hard to belive theres any truth to that. nhra, for instance, would never allow a car to run 9.99 with a bolted in cage. and i know fred wouldn't build the car without that time as a goal(at least down the road). and you cannot "bolt in" the front craddle for the motor. that has to be welded........rules or no rules.

That looks pretty tight!
The only thing I have to say is: Is that six by six plates bolted to the floor of the chasssis. If I'm not mistaken I think you gotta have a six by six plate underneathe bolted to another six by six plate inside the car. I could be wrong?

This is very true.
We were asking Honda like crazy for one of the chassis but figured it could be just a tad dangerous and a little short in wheelbase.

im trying to find pics i have of highlands teg from back in the day--no trailor, he drove it to 75-80's import day, once there he guttted the interier, removed the exhaust, and put on the slicks --ever since then ive been a fan of his -- to how far he has come since then and to his next car
