IMHO 24.5s plus ZC 3/4 is a great place to be. especially trapping over 130mph.

 

how much different is the zc 3/4 danz?
if i were to change the gearing and leave my 23's on there what would be the outcome?

 

from what i recall off the top of my head, when i was on 23s, and trapping 131mph, i was over 9000rpm crossing the line

 

ehh i dont think il be doing the whole zc gearing thing. if anything im just going to to a d2b soon. i was thinking about it before the car was done but rathered on finishing it so i held off.
if i do the d2b i figure it will be a few grand with the speedfactory kit and then getting a good tranny and good clutch

thing sould go 10's no problem i would think, i make 100whp less than you and ive made 1 pass on a bad diff and bogged 3rd and went 11.3 @124 on 23 m&h's

 

yeah the car should have no problems getting into the mid 10's with some more seat time.
but i think im going to lose 3rd gear. did a 3rd gear pull last night and after i did the pull it feels like shifting into moosh in 3rd. if i do a b tranny it will be a built trans tho with a 5th gear cuff all the goodies. just going to cost moneys

 

very true, they dont jus give those away..lol
i have a stash of 2 gsr trans and an extra gearset as well jus gotta save for the d2b kit now
im gonna run the d series trans till it grenades itself, prolly will when i spray it haha good thing i jus got a new trailer

got a 6262 myself but gonna see what i can do with the 60-1 first, found out a couple weeks back i had cracked a sleeve so i got a GE sleeved block thats in machine shop at the moment
hopefully i can get it back together to make it to the track a couple times atleast this year.
be keepn an eye on this thread , hope to see faster times soon, ride that trans till it explodes!!!!
