your 60' is horrible. it's hard not to have wheel hop on low profile tires. Get your 60' down, and you'll see much better times. IMO, you need smaller wheels, larger tires, and traction bars, but I guess that all depends on how much you drag race.
2.2 is a good 60' time to shoot for on street tires, although with traction bars a good driver can do much better.

yes, you must get your 60 fts down to atleast 2.4. theres no other reason your b16 hatch is only .2 quicker than my mostly stock LS.

I spoke to another guy there at the track he ran a 17 in a 2000 civic si with 17 inch wheels.. Also there was another civic (EK) That ran a 15.6 also it said DOHC VTEC on the side so i'm assuming it was a b16.

99-00 coupes are heavier than your hatch, they should be slower. 17's will only hurt your 1/4 time due to their weight. your car is capable of real low 15's or high 14's. Definitely high 14's if you had lighter wheels.

stock alloy wheels are good. 15's are pretty much the best size for speed on hondas with street tires. I'm running 16" rota slipstreams at 13.5 lbs ea. that's pretty light for a 16" wheel (especially for the price). I don't know off the top of my head what stock honda wheels weigh, but they won't hurt your times. Lower your tire pressure to around 20 psi or so too, that'll help with wheel hop.

get your 60's down and your good like everyone else is saying. how does your motor run with the gsr ecu? or ? you should try and get a hold of some drag radials as well to bring your 60's down......

hey man i was at lebanon last night also, though i wasnt running my car.

i remember seeing a bunch of cars have issues with wheel hop. the track pretty much sucks and people run worse times there than other places. **** that viper ran like a 15.2 .

just work on the launch a little bit, and if you decide to go to the track often, maybe get some 15's . getting your hands on a b16 ecu or getting your gsr ecu chipped will help some also

The car gets a little lazy at Vtec(4400) then comes alive at about 5700 and pulls strong to redline. I have a modded P28 Ecu but wanted to run the car as is (plus I forgot the ECU home). But next week I'm Going again this time with 14's or 15's on and a different ECU (p28 with mugen type R).

4400 sounds kind of low for vtec x over. lowering it only helps to a point. If I were you, id run it around 5K.

i've heard close to .500 not that it really matters though, it does not affect your et in anyway.
