That's neat. Full blown made an adapter plate for the f20/22c as well but mated to a v160/161 getrag trans

We also do tons of adapter plates. Recently we did one for the F20C to Z33 (Nissan 350Z) 6 spd trans.

That's crafty. Interesting to see the creative end result.
Here is a shot of the back of a Honda J35 to Powerglide
Engine plate. I use a Ford starter with GM starter pinion
to a 153 tooth ring gear. The convertor I use, uses a Ford
bolt pattern. I Frankensteined the hell out of it.

How about a J35 to a F20c transmission?

What flexplate are you using? I know Brent had his made, I'm doing an adapter hub so I can run whatever chevy style plate I want.

That's an interesting idea, but would counting on the flex plate bolts alone enough to carry the load a good idea rather than a solid plate that attaches the convertor to crank as one continuous unit? Just seems to introduce a weakness.

The plate I use was custom as well and weighs around 6 lbs. it was tricky.

A lot of domestic guys do it, so we figured it should work okay for us. But if Brent has what I need, I'll go with it. Brent has never done me wrong.

i used 1/4" alum plate for my f20c/gforce manual trans, looks similar. transfer block holes, countersink whichever ones you have to, transfer bellhousing holes.

I know this is way after the fact but are you still working with making adapter plates?
