Do i need to change my breaks for slicks
So ive got a full 98 GSR brake setup all the way around the car. I wanna run the right size slicks to get me into the 10's but all im finding is stuff for 13" wheels. So do i need to change the brakes to get em on, or can i run th 24.5x8x15 that MT has and be fine?

i have 98 gsr front knuckles with weld drag lites with 5" backspacing. all i did was shave down the caliper just a bit, rounded the edge off.
what i did was make sure they were not going to rub when there were no brake pads installed, that way they sure as heck wont rub with brake pads. without brake pads, the caliper has more horizontal movement

13" wheels will fit over the GSR brakes.
the popular back spacing for the GSR brakes is the 4"
some still have to run a small spacer, some don't -- seems to change from car to car
the 4" gives you a better chance of not having to run a spacer
or you can run the 5" backspacing and definately run a spacer

We carry the spinwerkes 360 series with a convex centre to work with large integra style brakes..and aftermarket large ones too. With those, you can run a 5" backspacing (4 7/8" to be exact) and not need any spacers. Unlike bogarts, you also have no need for heavier specialty lugnuts, as common lightweight acorn styles work.

Re: (Bisimoto)
This question comes up on a weekly basis for us due to the misconception that 13" wheels arent going to fit oem honda brakes. People think of the small 13" civic wheel in those older Hondas and yes, those wont fit due to the spoke design on them. They just dont curve enough on the inside to clear bigger brakes, but those are drag wheels anyways.
If youre on an OEM Civic or Integra brake setup(exc ITR), you should be fine with most 13" drag wheels. Some are designed with a spoke to specifically clear our calipers. Other drag wheels such as some Bogart wheels have a flat face on the mounting surface. When you look at your rotors and where the wheel mounts to, you can see that the calipers are not flushed to that mounting surface. So either the wheel has to have curved spoke to clear that caliper or the wheel itself has to extend on the mounting surface to clear the calipers. One way to do this is to put a spacer(which is common).
I wish I had a better diagram up, but this is the only one I have uploaded.
As you can see in this diagram, when we were designing our wheels, we took in consideration the caliper clearance on the spoke area. There's plenty of 13" wheels out there and most setups are in 13s. The popular M&H and MT sizes for a turbo street car are 13" slicks.

I have 13" Lenso's that I'm using for now and they fit fine on my stock 95 DX brakes. My concern is, I have purchased 00 Civic SiR (SI) brakes all around and was wondering if they will fit with the lenso's? I'm not sure what the back spacing is.
I'm almost certain that GS.GSR,SiR (SI) brakes are all the same size.

you will be fine with 88-00 Integra brakes and 88-00 Civic brakes(Si also). The only thing that wont clear with our wheels are the ITR calipers.
