Comp4 4th gear problems

yea he did...it was a non-oem stablizer bar for the linkage...haha...swapped linkages and busted out 11.80s and 11.90s

hell ya we got that in !!!! after we replaced the hasport bar with an OEM the car was getting in 4th FINALLY.
+ we also got all 9 bolts in the pp/flywheel. so that help the pp stay together this time
thanks to Steve Jung/ALPHA coming through in a crunch

Good meeting you Terry.
Dave and I had the new pressure plate in about ten minutes before the first round of Qualifying. The car still didnt go in gear after that (still). I noticed that you could literally pull the shift lever up and down, in and out of the car.
When we pulled the linkage you could see where the shift lever was hitting the linkage. Put a new oem stabilizer bar in, and the car goes right into gear.

When we pulled the linkage you could see where the shift lever was hitting the linkage. Put a new oem stabilizer bar in, and the car goes right into gear.

not to ask a stupid question but , when you say shift lever you mean the shifter itself?
and the stabilizer bar is a solid peice how did it move to hit it....
just wondering incase i ever run into that
