clutchless shifting
As of right now, there isn't anything available for FWD cars, that will permit it to be a clutchless. You can buy an aftermarket trans like an X-Trac, or a Quaife, and they can be Sequentially shifted, but it is not a true clutchless. I know people like ProDrive are thiking of working on it, since I used to work there. But not sure if he has put anymore thought into since then.
There are lots of boxes and gear sets out there that can be shifted without a clutch. Heck, you can even use the Autronic engine mgt. system like I do and have a ign. kill that lets me change gears without using the clutch

Tom. you know the difference between clutchless and sequential. you might be able to kill the ignition long enough to shift, but that is not a clutchless. There are ways to get a car to shift without losing the clutch, but with a stock trans, there will have to be some sort of ignition kill or something to kill power. Won't happen under full throttle.
Man, you know building new cars. Just so time consuming. It will come down last minute like everyones car always does. So far so good, but we are still just hacking away at the chassis.
Hey Mike>> John that makes teh fuel pump mount here. How things. I just made 24 more mounts so you guys gotta sell more, so I can do the same. I need a Prelude VTec head so I can try to do the same for it.
Liberty takes stock gears and makes them non sync. mesh. It would be cool to only have one gear and have a slider clutch on hydrolics like a top fuel car...but I doubt the cars have enough power to make it work.

Hey John, I was talking to you at Irwindale last week. I showed up with Greg after the "mishap". I have a spare H22 head just sitting in my garage if you need to borrow one. Just let me know or hit up Greg. Just make sure you can drive it off of an AEM cam gear.

Tyler>> That was more than a mishap.. LOL I called Greg today as a matter of fact to ask him about the head situation. It shouldn't matter what cam gear is used, since they are all dimensionally the same. The pumps is driven off the cam bolt. And that is a part taht we make. I just need to talk tohim and hook up, so I can get it. I only need it for a few days, till I get it reverse engineered.. i.e. Copied..LOL
you are all wrong, saenz offers a clutchless transmission. uses stock case and its for the h22 i believe. the link is http://www.saenzperformance.com

You still use a clutch though...Liberty has a straight cut box too. There are a couple companys comming from Australia that have boxes like these that use the factory cases as well. The word "clutchless" is messing you up.
The reason you can use no clutch shifting in a honda is just because you are matching the revs of both gears to throw them into gear...same thing a flat shift does, but u can use this at high speeds.

Another problem is, that stock honda tranny's are Helical cut gears, and also use synchros. You need straight cut gears and dogs for clutchless. you won't be able to get helical gears to line up at RPM, under full throttle.
