i went to the track for my first time with my turboteg. everytime i launched my car would hopp and not do a burn out anybody know the problem??? it felt like i had too much traction on my stock wheels, caveliers were launching better then me... it was disappointing.. the best time i ran was a 14.6 with 5.5 psi
anybody know what the problem is????

is there any way of not making it hop???

 

what kinda tires? suspension setup? etc

u need stickier tires. like a falken azenis, and let air down to like 10 psi. this should u out a lot.

funny...i get crazy wheel hop with my azenis at times. You need something softer. And like someone said...look into jimfab bars. What kinda suspension are you using? Mounts?

what were u launching at?

those jimfab bars should help prevent the hop. alignment and camber is also an issue.

 

i tryed launching at 3k 4k and even 2500k still does the same thing... it seems like im getting too much traction on my stock wheels
would cambers have to do anything with it?? cuz my cambers are pretty bad

 

Your motor mounts may be shot, that can cause wheel hop during launching.
