cant connect s300 to laptop! help!

cant connect s300 to laptop! help!
what up ht, for some reason my laptop will not let me connect to my s300? I am currently running windows 7 and heard that might be the problem (bugs)? i tried clicking update usb drivers. Tried looking for it under device manager. Any tips guys?

i works fine with 7 way better than it works with vista lol get in a aera were you can have the ecu hookede up in the car and have wifi , and than try to update the drivers

If it works with Vista, it works with 7. Just not the 64bit I believe. You can however run your machine in 32b mode and run s300 that way. I use my 7 laptop weekly with s300, kpro, flash pro. no issues at all.
Either you have a bunk usb cable, or the end could be damaged in the ecu where it plugs in to it, all it needs is power and you should get the noise that lets you know its connected. If youhavent got that far its because you have no comm. try a diff cable, or try another s300, or something along those lines

Thanks for the input. I do get the noise that lets me know the ecu is connected. and I have connected my s300 with a diffferent laptop. so i know somethings wrong with my. i currently am running the 64bit version of windows 7. I think that might be the problem. anybody know how to change 64 to 32?

My windows seven laptop has issues with K pro mostly. I am going back to a windows xp computer.
I can plug my ecu in and it will take up to 5 minutes sometimes for it to connect!

I'm having the same issue I load hondata s300 program plug in ecu it say ecu connected but won't let me access it. Bc I'm trying to use I to narrow down an issue I'm having car being stuck in limp mode.
