between NLR AMS 1000 and Turbosmart 60spi e-boost 2.
which one is easy to use?

Nlr is a very good controller. I love mine. It has several strategies time base,shift based etc.

whats the adavntage of running nlr compared to say the boost by gear with aem?

NLR uses its own parameters and can also utilize CO2 pressure on top of the wastegate to run higher boost levels and help with boost response. There are other things as well but those are big ones.

you can run co2 with aem also.

If your engine management has the capabilities, why run a standalone boost controller. Doesn't make sense to me. Waste of money IMO and a pain that you cant see it on your logs.

I assume the HKS can control boost the way you want for the price that thing cost, but I am unfamiliar with it personally.

boost by speed on aem is a good way to go. i'm switching up over the winter and using aem series 2. fwd so will be using boost by rear wheel speed.
