Call me crazy but I still think a CRX is the ticket. Starts light and you can put any motor in it you want if you have the ambition and the skill. A stock GSR motor will put you close to 13's if not into the 13's. A guy back home was running a 88 Si with a GSR motor, cams and Type R IM, and 75 shot hitting 12.9. So 11's is just a turbo away, if you can get it to hook up. If you want to do 11's you better budget for a cage too if you want to run on any tracks.

there's a guy on here with a k20 in his crx running 11.9's!!bone stock k20...execpt for headers...hondata computer...and i think that's it...
saw that car run with my own eyes!!! it was just crazy for being stock!

K series all the way!
K series is good but it cost too much to put K series in a EG chasis. And parts are not available like B series. There are not many people who are experienced with K series. K series is a good swap if u have time and patience. I couldnt deal with it right now so my vote goes for B series
