Default Lets talk about rod ends...

Ok. I made my own custom radius rod setup for my street car. The rod ends i baught weren't exactly of superior quality. I'm getting too much play in them and it's kind of annoying hearing the noises as i drive down the road. I don't think they are any worse than the day i first installed them, I just don't like hearing 'loose suspension' type noises riding down the city streets.

Anyway, I was wondering if high quality teflon lined rod ends would cure this? Or do all rod ends have inherent play in them? What kind/brand of rod end should i buy? or should i look into fabbing up something solid?

TIA.

I use chromoly aurora rod ends and have never had a problem with them. You can get them from most chassis shops.
