Default battery relocation....

i searched the NHRA rules for this, but the date says 2007 so i'm sure it's changed. I currently run a sealed odyssey pc680 relocated to my trunk. do i need this in a moroso 74050 box? this is a street car that i sometimes drag on the weekends. i was just curious how this has to be mounted? this is in a gutted 91 Integra.

thanx.

You need to bolt it down and run a shut off switch in the back of the car. You do not need a battery box because its a sealed battery.

i think i paid 15-20 bucks for that box at canadian tire also comes with tie downs and straps, just make sure all hardware is in there because people tend to move stuff around in the store, as for kill switch i used what comes on bmw's before they get pdi at the dealership, stuck it threw my rear key hole and added a guage for batt voltage

ohh another tip when doing it and it worked for me , on the negative i would strip the wire every 2feet and add a terminal to the body so you have constant ground threwout the car all the way to the front, my ground goes directly to the motor aswell
