Default B16/B18a/b vs. B18c Diffs

Hey Guys,

I am currently running an LS b18b hydro trans but would like to change up my gearing. I was given a gsr trans with a crack case from bottoming out on a curb but the gearset is still mint. I would like to switch over most of the gsr gearing and fd to my ls casing.

I see that the differentials are always listed separately for the gsr, and I am wondering what exactly the difference is? Is it just the different bearing type between the two? Will the FD swap over ok?

I just want to make sure that I will be able to simply swap parts, or if I need something else.

Thanks

b16/ls has a different final drive then gsr, aka the bolt holes dont line up. so u will not be able to use the gsr diff final drive on a b16/ls diff. sorry

you will need shims for the bearings if you want to run sealed bearings on the gsr, learned that from mfactory. the bolt pattern is also different for the ring gear
