Default 2nd Gen Integra with B16

I friend of mine got a B16 in his 1991 Honda. Thinking that he would go faster but the time slip shows the same time at the 1/4 ... somewhere in the mid 16's. Anyone got suggestions?

hahah...funny how no one replyd but its okie...you should be atleast a mid-high 15...if you run a 16 ...its either the driver...place of elevation or how you did the swap!

Get a lighter car or more power. The B16A swap in a DA makes if more fun to drive but has about the same over all power.

i've known B18a's to pull harder then B16's in similar weight chassis's... its all in the torque.

Yeah, he got the 1st Gen B16A motor with the LSD. I was suprise that he didn't get any faster then the old 1.8 motor with 200K on it. .... I agree with you guys

I guess if I'm going to swap a B16, I'll use a civic chassi

Well all i can say is i have a b16a with lsd in my car and i ran a 14.4 with falken tires on it... so i dont know what all you are talking about.. mods are header, 2.25inch. piping to stock muffler,B&M fuel pressure regulater, st corsa cam gears, and 00 ITR cams, stock clutch with b16 tranny. when i ran the 14.4 i was un-tuned and my AFR was like 9 when it should be like 13.5-14.

I have a b16 in my DA, and i agree that most people will get the same time slips as the LS motor. its all in how you do things. my worst times were on a rainy day, i ran 15.7 @95 mph, with a 2.30 60 foot, my best times were far better. And it does make it more fun to drive
