2013 Rules
Does anyone know when or if the new rules will be posted for the 2013 season, im really hoping to run a forward facing manifold but i heard they may be against the rules in the true street class, does anyine know if this is true?
Whatever you decide on, you need to make sure that you are legal to run at the OGS Englishtown and Atco events....Honda Day Atco, Spring Nationals, Summer Slam, Honda Day E-town, Fall Nationals, etc...
It seems like one of the only solid things you can invest in and you know its going to stick around.

MIR is planning on hosting two IREV events again in 2013, and the 2013 IREV Schedule will be posted on this site by January 1, 2013.
I am not sure about the rules. Try Emailing MIR?

FF has nothing to do with street-ability. There would be a riot if forward facing were banned, there are lots of established true street cars that have already been built with FF.
From what I've heard they feel like its getting away from it being a "street car" when there is a turbo hanging off the front of the car. Like I said I do hope this is not the case.
@4piston, of course I want to make sure the car is legal, but I am kinda sick of going to E-Town. It's a nice track but I can't stand all the noise restrictions. For god sakes it's a race track and it was there before they moved in and if you didn't like noise why did they move there to begin with. Plus everytime we go its seems to rain lol

Make it a 62mm class if they wanna slow it down, but I personally don't like rules. That's the only way I could see t slowing down, people can still go 8's on the much cheaper 67mm units out there.
I do not understand why there should be a 62mm, 67mm, 72mm (and different tires at that) class. If you cant afford true street, SFWD, or outlaw, there is always index. You do not have to worry about cars getting faster.
lol
I really don't know how you slow these cars down? add weight? limit the turbo? change tire?
Weight will make things dangerous, Can still make 850 on the 6266 hell cars might go faster with a little less power. and tire? IDK back to the drag radial days? I really think today if someone tried they can go 9's on a bfg 225-50-15.

I believe true street should be a 62mm limit full interior etc, sfwd should be a 67mm limit and the outlaw class should be a 72mm plus limit and its not the fact of money and building the car, its the fact of having good heads up racing and having fun doing what alot of people love to do.
haha they'll atleast start making the 6266 with a T4 option and H housing availability. No matter what, someone will figure out how to make a puny turbo make 1000

Yep, then people will want a 57mm class lol
I've already posted this on our page months ago, but FIS is going to be a 62mm limit for slicks and 67mm limit for dot tires. Also, one power adder type limit. 3.5L 6 cyl applications limited to stock twins. All other rules for the class to remain the same.

Would limiting ecu to oem type or piggy back only like hondata, neptune, etc change anything for true street? I have only messed with hondata personally so I have no idea what the other engine managements are capable of.
