Default new owner of a 79 civic 1200

like this title says, just picked this up for a good price, still runs but i need a fuel tank, has some rust which i will be taking care of first. then ill be doing other things to make the thing run right, like brakes, tires and regular maintanance.. on to the pics, let me know what you think.. any suggestions would be awesome..

yo i seen sum people start getting those i putting gsr swap in there i been tempted to pick up an 82 a throw a gsr turbo in there

if your fuel tank is just dirty and rusted inside its an easy fix..just did it to my 72 n600.

take some small gravel and pour inside tank and slosh all around for a while. then clean it out really good with some thinner or such and let it dry. then goto oreilys and get this stuff called red-kote.. its for coating the inside of a rusty tank.. it works awesome!!

It looks just like one I had when I was 16! (20 years ago) I would shave off the front side turn signals, take off the rubber bumpers on the bumpers, Cut the springs, paint it and your good!

Here is a pic of mine after I shaved off the front side turn signals, took off the rubber bumpers on the bumpers, Cut the springs, and painted it. It was also rusty silver when I got it!
