Id go with a b series swap n boost it, but there is just so many options that i can sit here all day telling what to get, just do a little reasearch on engine setups to see what fits you budget n power goals

it's not as simple as it may sound. you cant just "EFI swap" mainly because you'd have to change everything from the fuel tank and lines all the way up to the intake manifold, change the wiring, ecm, and the list goes on.
also, manual transmission swap is relatively easy if you have a parts car to pull from.
rear disc brakes can probably be had, but its not a common swap so you're probably going to be hunting forever trying to figure out what pieces you can put together from a newer civic/accord/integra to make it work.
honestly, its not going to be that fast regardless of what you do to it, so your best bet is just to do all the stuff it needs done maintenance wise, put a decent suspension setup on it, and change it over to a weber carburetor, then you get a decent perfomance gain and its do-able.

Re: in need of some advice
you wouldnt gain anything really. plus by the time you changed EVERYTHING over, you'll have a ton of money in something that isnt worth anything. i'm trying not to be too negative on this, but the practicality of this build goes out the window by converting to fuel injection and changing an engine to a series that is not native.
