Auto Trans Problems Accord LX-i
I have acquired a 1987 Accord LX-i that won't shift out of first while driving, was told it has had 3 transmissions installed and they all do the same thing, I was wondering if maybe there is a vacuum hose disconnected somewhere or ?? any help or input would be appreciated also, would like to try to figure it out or it's going to the salvager

If the same person installed all 3 transmissions, then you really need to take it to someone else. But yes, there is a Throttle Valve cable that connects to the stock throttle cable that helps control shifting. Also, make sure you're running the right fluids!
